A significant part of the broadcast rights for the final tournament matches in the United States, Canada and Mexico were already issued in 2015. Fox, Telemundo and Bell Media in the United States already had FIFA rights, which have now been extended until the 2026 World Cup. In Canada, the media companies CTV, The Sporting Network (TSN) and RDS are authorized to broadcast the 80 matches to be played at the World Cup in North America.
