The World Cup has six matches scheduled for Group B. The draw of the 2026 World Cup determines which four – still to be qualified – countries will end up in this group. Each country will play one match against the other three countries, which means each country will compete three times in the group stage. It is up to the countries in Group A to finish in the top two or as one of the overall eight best numbers three. Together with the two top countries and (other) best numbers three from groups A, B and D to L, the total amounts to 32 teams that advance to the round of 32 (16 finals).
